Exposing the (Rescue) Joke*

Ruse or Rescue

(*Yes, we know it was a joke,1 eh, but beneath the joke is a woeful lack of memory, admission, accountability, etc., etc., so here goes:)

Dear Tucker & Friends:

With all undue respect, we Canadians decline your jocular offer of “rescue.” Yes, we do need rescue, but NOT by the USians! That would be like going from the Trudeau frying pan into the CiA abyss. In case you haven't noticed, you USians still have a closed US/CDN border for medical minorities, while we Canadians have opened ours to (nigh) everyone2 at this time. (We hope it lasts, but WHO knows!) The only travel doc we want to see is your passport; but you are still emulating the dark age of 1940's Europe. You pretend you respect and defend rights and freedoms while you lie, cheat, steal, [and kill]3 with seeming, virtuous impunity. You have played the bald eagle role just like your Ben Franklin feared.

You, with your P35 power- and perfidy plays have clawed your way round the world, delivering or re-enforcing tyranny under cover of democracy and manifest destiny. So, nope, we'll pass on your brand of rescue profiled here6 and here7 and here,8 etc.

So we would request that you get up to speed on the underbelly of your history9 as it has almost consumed the bright and divine side of the USA founding promises that were once a brilliant beacon of hope and opportunity for the world.

Bye the bye, if you don't stop exporting (and now internalizing) death, decay, domination, and destruction, you will be the nation needing rescue. That's the endless tale of history and hypocrisy.
